Some days we feel so strong, Other days we don’t belong. Some days we can light up the sky, Other days we watch light die. Start each one with open eyes, Pull the blind on disappointment, Listen for the future calling, Hold the sky to keep it from falling in. Hot drink to warm the soul, Wash away sin with steam and water, Pull the tie in front of the mirror, I’m no lamb I’m not ready for slaughter. Is the glass half full or empty? Is suffering the price of plenty? Should I love to live or live to love? Should I give it over easy, or take it sunny side up? Open the door to opportunity, Cross the city to fields of gold, Turn the lock on responsibility, Feel fragility it’s got so close. Don’t know where it’s coming from, Don’t speak the language it uses. Felt scared for so very long, It rips and tears whenever it chooses. Is the glass half full or empty? Is suffering the price of plenty? Should I love to live or live to love? Should I give it over easy, or take it sunny side up? Should I float on the breeze, get up off my knees? Been on them forever and they’re starting to bleed. Cradle the sun in the palm of my hand, Paint an odyssey of grief so they’ll understand? Blast dark matter into the light, Dance on the grave of endless night? Paint the surface of the moon with the tips of my toes, Swim the rivers of hades and feel them flow? Press this forehead to the muzzle of a gun, Find a reason to smile for everyone? Show Blind Willie Johnson the soul of man, Love all of those who hurt us, to show that we can?

You can turn away, it's over, Another day is dawning. Wish i could hold the sunrise, Wish sleep on a world of mourning. Yes, let's open the window, Let in the winter world outside. They should hear the crying sound, When hope is lost and grief is found. I'll go make the coffee, just lie there and let me dream, Of mornings like this, in years to come, When you are still here and we are one. Can you hear the trumpets ring, The souls of lost heroes wake and take wing? In hall of stone and fields once red, We nations all sing to remember our dead. I'll walk behind my love, I'll place the wreath at your command. I'll walk the aisle at your side my love, I'll follow you to the heights above. When you dress we join the lines; The nameless dead and those left behind. With no escape from memory, As long as i live, i'll never be free from you. Can you hear the trumpets ring, The souls of lost heroes wake and take wing? In hall of stone and fields once red, We nations all sing to remember our dead. This Is our Remembrance day, We sing to remember the hope that was saved. All we are, all we have is sure to decay, So we sing to redeem the debt we cannot repay. This is our Remembrance Day.

You know we seek a meaning for existence, Feed us with a message you have blessed. Use our guilt to lower our resistance, Teach us how redemption ends our quest. Give us all the gift of absolution, Bury hell beneath a prayer. Bathe us all in god’s solution, Teach us how to live on breathing air. We’ll come out singing hallelujah, Reach our hands up to the skies. None of us wants to see through you, Don’t want our faith dissolved by lies. This ain’t no revolution We’ve seen it all before. Blind us with the fear of our pollution, Our greed for sin defines your law. Sing out your message from your towers, Only the deaf escape your call. Inject yourself with holy powers, Line us up to watch the faithless fall. Tell us our reward will be heaven, Death means an eternity of bliss. We’ll leave you with all of our possessions, Believe you when you say that we’ll be missed. We’ll come out singing hallelujah, Reach our hands up to the skies. None of us wants to see through you, Don’t want our faith dissolved by lies. This ain’t no revolution We’ve seen it all before. Build for us a spiritual communion, By sending us believers off to war.

I’m not here to tell you, where you walk I kiss the earth. Still writing on those prison walls, Your memory is what I’m worth. I’m not here to tell you, everything’s going to be alright. Will never be the one that shows you, where you went wrong and how to make it right. Just came by to leave a reminder, of days when they were good. I'm not your keeper just your finder. Would be your haven if I could. Can’t believe in forever these days. Cannot heal a heart that’s lame. Parting gifts, they’re always the same. Turn my back and leave, do you think it’s easy? Give more than we receive, do you think it’s easy? Find the strength to believe, do think it’s easy? Understand all we see, do think it’s easy? All that love bequeathed us, make believe it’s in the past. Let the trust that lived between us, lead the way to loves that last. Would never try to hold you to promises given blind. Relax, let your dreams enfold you, I don’t think your guilt will mind. Have come your way so much blinder. Freedom gives us many paths to choose. Hope to find you being kinder, to those you’d never want to lose. Can’t believe in forever these days. Cannot heal a heart that’s lame. Parting gifts, they’re always the same. Set the ones we love free, do you think it’s easy? Give more than we receive, do you think it’s easy? Find the strength to believe, do think it’s easy? Take no more than we need, do you think it’s easy?

You could try expressing intimacy You have nothing to fear from my curiosity. I would like to meet your hidden friends, But if i were to tell you so, see beginnings start to end. My fears are most pressing, as you're undressing. When i capture your eyes, sense secrecy. I understand, you live life to be free, Winder if you realise i'm not offering captivity. Yes I'll take it again, i'll live with us being just good friends, I'll wait for wanting you to end, As the smiles of girls and babies, wind round shredded daisies. Love me do love me not, rip me apart but forget me not, As the smiles of girls and babies, wind round shredded daisies. Got a hurt to mend, got a new world to win, Do you want me as a friend, can i keep the hurt within. Don't want this to end, don't want the next time to begin. Like the feeling it sends of endless suffering. I could look to the skies, i could talk to the future, I could trust my eyes, they tell me to go on. I cold listen to my lies, i could hope they pollute you, Could hope these feelings die, could hope it won't take long. Yes I'll take it again, i'll live with us being just good friends, I'll wait for wanting you to end, As the smiles of girls and babies, wind round shredded daisies. Love me do love me not, rip me apart but forget me not, As the smiles of girls and babies, wind round shredded daisies.

Pretty 04:29
Help me mother, cant you see, I'm not as pretty as i'd like to be? Sit in crowds of motionless faces, watching success, its' teasing traces, Sliding from the screen, anointing the best, Turning its' beautiful back on the rest. Back on the rest. Help me mother, can't you see, I'm not as pretty as you need to be? Feel cold and empty like an unknown sea, sinking to the depths of obscurity. For those who give and those who take, only death is shared out equally. Shared out equally. Time is moving on. Time to know if i could belong here. Been waiting on a miracle, forever and a day. Hoping that someone, could be anyone, God just give me one, won't have to be a special one, Feel the sadness, heal the madness, Like to shout out loud just once, from gladness. Help me mother, i can feel. Feel for us addicted, fed. Following where we are led. Feel for us, made of dreams. Fed by scraps from LED screens. Time is moving on. Time to know if i could belong here. Been waiting on a miracle, forever and a day. Hoping that someone, could be anyone, God just give me one, won't have to be a special one, Feel the sadness, heal the madness, Like to shout out loud just once, from gladness. Help me mother, I'm not so pretty.
